Large wooden creature off Rt 8?

Hello,
This may sound strange, but I have a curiosity. About 5 years ago, I drove through Otis on my way up Route 8 on a long trip. I saw what appeared to be a giant bear or beaver made of sticks, near the road, in front of some sort of store (maybe antiques or hardware?).
If such a thing still exists, where might I find it? I'm taking another trip through the area this year and I'd like to point it out to someone.

Thank you,
Mike

Suggestions for site improvements?

What could OtisMass.com to improve its appeal and functional utility? I'm sure the operators would love to hear our suggestions.

Well, a few more registered users would be an obviously good start. But how about a utility that allows a user to create a personal profile, and to view the profiles of other users? How about a means to view which users are currently online, and PM them.

This would certainly create a more dynamic community.

And what about publicity? Has this site been mentioned in the Otis Gazette (or Sandisfield Newsletter or Monterey News)?
